Instant Hot Chocolate

Sorry this is up late today, but better late then never.  This recipe for Instant Hot Chocolate has been in our family for about 35 years, and I love it.  It is one of my favorite winter time treats.   When it is cold and snowing outside this is absolutely delicious and comforting.  So, today I'm sharing my recipe for Instant Hot Chocolate with all of you.  I hope you enjoy it during this holiday season and all winter.

Instant Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

3 oz of coffee mate
3 packets of 1 qt instant dry milk packets
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/3 can Ghiradelli Cocoa

Directions:

Mix all of the ingredients together and store in a jar or container.

To make 1 cup hot chocolate

Put 1/3 cup of this mixture into a mug of boiling water and stir.

I am so happy to share my recipe with you today.   This would also make a great Christmas Gift along with a pretty mug.  I used to give this to the kid's teachers during the holidays.

I always love hearing from you.  Have a great week and a great Thanksgiving next week.

Enjoy!!!
Debi

  1. I love to use instant hot chocolate in place of sugar/cream in my coffee. I was just thinking that I need to try to figure out how to make it myself, so I definitely want to give this one a try!
    Thanks for sharing!
