Eternal in The Bible

Today, I am focusing on the word Eternal in The Bible.  I love that word.

I looked up the definition for the word eternal and this is what I found.

Eternal
1. Lasting or existing forever: without end or beginning
2. (of truths, values, or questions) Valid for all time; essentially unchanging

I love that God is Eternal.  He is always there, lasting, existing forever, without end or beginning.  What a comfort this is for all of us.

Here is a verse to bring this point home.

The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
Deu 33:27

Next week we will go over eternal in other parts of The Bible in relation to Jesus, because through him we have everlasting life or eternal life.

I always love hearing from you.
Have a blessed week.
