Escargot Recipe

Today I am writing about one of my favorite appetizers,  Escargot.  I love the delicious flavors of the garlic, butter, and the escargot.  I also love dipping my bread in the garlic butter, after I have finished eating the escargot.

Escargot

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cup butter
8 cloves garlic

2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/3 cup white wine
1 package (2 dozen snail shells)
1 can 4 1/2 oz natural snails ( drained and rinsed )

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix butter, garlic, parsley, wine, salt, and pepper.

Spoon a small amount of the butter mixture into each snail shell.

Next put a snail inside each shell.

Then add the rest of the butter mixture to each of the shells.

Bake for 12 to 17 minutes.  Butter should be melted.

Serve immediately with fresh french baguettes, to soak up garlic butter.

I hope that you enjoy today's recipe for Escargot. As usual I always love hearing from you.

Enjoy!!!

Lychee Martinis for Friday's Happy Hour

So if you have been following me, you know that I just got back from a cruise through Italy and Croatia.  I was on Celebrity's Silhouette cruise ship, and my favorite drink was their Lychee Martini.  It was a delicious martini, and our bar waiter was kind enough to give me the recipe for this amazing cocktail.  So today I present you a Lychee Martini for Friday's Happy Hour.

Lychee Martini

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz vodka
1 oz lychee juice
1/2 oz guava juice
1/2 oz cream de coconut
1 oz pineapple juice
splash of lime juice
1 lychee for garnish

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a martini shaker over ice.

Add ice and shake.

I let them sit for a minute to chill.  I like my martinis really cold

Pour in a martini glass.

Makes 1 Lychee Martini

I had such a great time on this cruise.  You can not beat great food, amazing drinks, and the most wonderful table companions ever.  I hope you enjoy this Martini, and I always love hearing from you.

Enjoy!!!

Panko Fried Chicken

So here is a really easy recipe for Panko Fried Chicken.  It is a deliciously simple and fast weeknight meal.  We love anything fried here, so this is ideal for us. I will share a recipe for Almond Fried Fried Chicken soon, which is what I eat.

Panko Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

3 chicken breast sliced in half (6 halves)
3 cups panko
3 eggs beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup vegetable oil

Directions:

Heat vegetable oil over medium heat.

Mix panko, salt and pepper together and put in a flat pan.  I use a cake pan.

Put 1 piece of chicken breast in your beaten egg.

Then dredge the piece of chicken in the panko.

Set on a cookie sheet and repeat until all 6 pieces of chicken have been coated in the egg and then dredged in the panko.

Then put your chicken in the hot oil, and cook for 9 minutes on each side.  If it is browning too quickly turn the heat down a little.  Since you have sliced the chicken in half it is thinner and will cook quickly.

Take out of the oil and set on a paper towel to drain.

Serve

This makes 6 chicken breasts.  It should serve at least 4 people.

I hope that you like this Panko Fried Chicken recipe.  I always love hearing from you.

Enjoy!!!

I will post this really easy Washi Tape Idea Book Craft after the party.

Adorned From Above

Welcome to Wednesday's Adorned From Above Blog Hop.  This weeks party is a little different.  I have new blogs Co-Hosting this week and I think you are going to love them.

This is a blog hop, so when you share your posts on Adorned From Above, they will also be seen on The Busy Bee's and Two Succulent Sisters.

So on to this weeks party.  The rules are easy.

1.  Follow all of three hosts in some way (GFC, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Twitter, or Linky Followers )

2.  Anything goes with posts. ( recipes, parties, etsy shops, crafts, inspirational writing, absolutely anything.  Just make it family friendly )

3.  Comment on other posts.  It is a party.  Get to know your fellow bloggers.  I have met some of the nicest people at the parties, including my co-hosts.

Let's get to it then.  First, here are last weeks featured bloggers.

Now, let's party.

Here is the cutest Washi Tape Idea Book directions.

Washi Tape Idea book

Supplies:

Medium sized Moleskin notebook
Washi Tape of your choice
Notecard

Directions:

1. Decide how you want your Washi Tape placed on moleskin

2. Start at top of moleskin and place washi tape in pattern of your choice.

3. I did 5 strips of Washi Tape at top of moleskin from front to back, and then repeated the process from the bottom up.

4.  Next I added 2 more strips of washi tape and added a different pattern in the very center of the moleskin.

5.  I tape the notecard to the front of the notebook and wrote Idea Book on it.

This little notebook is a perfect size to stick in my purse and I can write ideas for the blog in it.  I Think it came out really cute.  I hope that you like this project also and have fun creating it.

We hope you have fun at this week's party.  All of us love hearing from you.  We love your comments.

Have a great week.
