Cookies and Cream No Churn Ice Cream

This is part two of my no churn ice cream flavors - chocolate and cookies and cream.  Last week I posted the Chocolate No Churn Ice Cream Recipe, and today I am sharing the Cookies and Cream No Churn Ice Cream recipe.  I found the inspiration for this no churn ice cream from Dana at This Silly Girls Life.  The recipe looked so simple and easy to make, that I decided I was going to give it a try.  I was very happily surprised to taste this delicious frozen treat.  It is amazingly smooth and creamy ice cream, I think that you are going to love it.

Cookies and Cream No Churn Ice Cream

 Ingredients:

2 cups heavy whipping cream
4 TB Powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
25 oreos crushed

Directions:

Whip cream until it is starting to thicken, then add powdered sugar.

Continue whipping cream until it forms soft peaks and add vanilla.

Finish whipping cream until it forms firm peaks.  Just make sure you don't whip it too much or you'll end up making butter.

Gently add the sweetened condensed milk until it is all thoroughly combined.  You can do this with a mixer or by hand.

Next, fold in the crushed oreos.

Pour all of this into a loaf pan and put in the freezer.  It took about 3 hours in my freezer, for it to freeze.  So you will probably want to allow about 4 hours from start to serve time.

I'm not exactly sure how many servings, this makes, but it is a whole loaf pan full.

Now, wasn't that easy.  What a great dessert, and it is so fast.  The texture of this ice cream is so creamy and smooth and not to heavy at all.

I love hearing from all of you, so let me know what you think.  Vince asked for strawberry ice cream after he tasted it, so I will try that one next.

Have a great week.

    1. Hi Ann Marie,
Sorry it took me so long to answer. Did you make the ice cream and did he like it? It is such an easy recipe. I am going to have to make some more for my husband. He was looking for it last night and we were out. I may try coffee ice cream for him tonight. Thanks for stopping by.
