White Chocolate Coated Oreos

So, I was trying to come up with easy delicious deserts and these White Chocolate Coated Oreos were amazing.

Here are the easy directions for these wonderful treats.

White Chocolate Coated Oreos
Ingredients:

16 oz White Quickmelt candy coating
12 oreos
12 lollipop sticks
chocolate sprinkles

Directions:

Melt quickmelt in a bowl in the microwave.  Stirring every 30 seconds until melted.  About 1 and 1/2 minutes.

Take top wafer off of oreo and put tips of lillipop stick into the melted coating and then put in the center of the oreo.

Put top of oreo back on.  This will  help the lollipop stick stay in the oreo.

Next put the oreo into the  bowl of quickmelt candy.  I put it in, and then use a spoon to make sure the oreo is covered with the quickmelt.

I then laid these on wax paper on a cookie sheet, and sprinkled the chocolate on top.

Next I put them in the refrigerator to harden the candy coating.

Makes 12 cookies

Serve, eat, and have fun.

I thought these White Chocolate Coated Oreos came out so cute.  They would make a great and easy teacher gift for christmas.  I shared them with lots of people and they got rave reviews.

I hope you like them as much as we did.  Let me know what you think.

Enjoy!!!

Venice, Italy Photography

Hi Everyone, today I am posting from Venice, Italy.  Life has been crazy, so this is the first post since Friday.  I was trying to get everything done before we left for venice, but was not able to do that, so today is the first time I get to show you something.  Today, I present you with Venice, Italy Photography.  Kind of cool!!!
We just got in this morning and we are exhausted, but after a short nap, life is feeling pretty good.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  I will have lots more over the next two weeks, along with some recipes and a craft or two.  Posts will be sporadic, since I will not always have access to the internet, but keep checking back, and the party will be up on Wednesday so come back and party with everyone.

This is the view when you walk in the door of our room

From the window

Hotel Gabrielli (our hotel)

St. Marks Cathedral in St. Marks Square

Aren't these the prettiest Gondolas?

My wonderful husband

There is even a Hard Rock on the canals of Venice.

I loved this bridge with the Gondola underneath it.

Candy in a store window, including Toroni (my favorite)

Italian cookies are my favorite.  They remind me of my great grandma

And last but not least, fresh pasta in a store window.  Beautiful!!!
I hope you enjoyed these pictures.  I was so tired that at first I didn't even take any pictures, but then I started getting in the swing of things.

I always love hearing from you, so let me know what you think.

Have a great day.
Enjoy!!!

Cherry Peach Cooler for Friday's Happy Hour and Favorite Blog Links

Okay, are you ready?  I made a really great Cherry Peach Cooler the other day, and it was an immediate hit.  This was easy and mighty tasty, if I do say so myself.

And of course, since it is Friday, one of my favorite days of the week, we have this weeks Favorite Blog Links.  So keep reading after the recipe for my Cherry Peach Cooler, because you are going to see some amazing bloggers and their great posts.  Take a look at the blogs, and it would be great if you would follow them, and leave some lovely comments also.

So here you are, this with an amazingly delicious cocktail.

Cherry Peach Cooler

Ingredients:

4 oz vodka
2 oz peach liqueur
4 oz black cherry juice
4 oz peach nectar
4 oz sprite  (I used diet, but you can use regular also)

Directions:

Put ice in 2 tall glass.

Measure 1/2 of each ingredient into each glass, or you can mix it all together in a very large measuring cup  or pitcher and then pour it into the glasses.

Stir with a spoon, and you are ready to go.

You will have two very delicious Cherry Peach Coolers.

Now for my Favorite Blog Links of the week. I am doing things a little differently starting this week.  I get so many wonderful links in my parties on Wednesdays, and I pick the featured links by how many page views each one gets.  Well last week I started picking my Friday Favorite Blog Links from among the posts from the party.  So now, when you join the party, you have two chances of being featured and pinned on Pinterest also.

So, are you ready?  Here are this weeks Favorite Blog Links.
