Swiss Chocolate Almond Ice Cream Pie with Whipped Cream

I have written before about my husband's fondness for Friendly's Swiss Chocolate Almond Sundae's, so I decided I would make him a Swiss Chocolate Almond Ice Cream Pie.  It was a big hit. I think he ate most of the pie in a couple of days. It is really easy to make (like most of my recipes).

Ingredients:

1 graham cracker pie crust
3/4 pt vanilla ice cream
3/4 pt coffee ice cream
3/4 pt chocolate ice cream
2 cups hot fudge sauce
1/2 cup marshmallow cream
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Whipped Cream
Cherry

Directions:

Let ice creams soften while you mix hot fudge sauce and marshmallow cream.  ( this is your Swiss Chocolate Sauce )

Put a thin layer of Swiss Chocolate Sauce in the bottom of the pie crust.  (The pie crust was broken, but I just worked with it.)

Then layer spread you almonds on top of the ice cream.
Next spread you Swiss Chocolate Sauce on top of the ice cream and almonds. You may not need all of the Swiss Chocolate sauce.  You can just put any leftovers in a container and store in the refrigerator to use when you want it.

Put in freezer for several hours or overnight.

Serve with whipped cream and a cherry on top.  Whipped recipe will be in tomorrows post.

Serves 8 to 10

I hope that you enjoy this recipe for Swiss Chocolate Almond Ice Cream Pie.  My husband liked it a lot.  Let me know what you think, I always love hearing from you.

Enjoy!!!
