Faith is the Answer Bible Study

This star represents the place where Jesus was born in grotto in Bethlehem, under the Church of the Nativity.

21:21  And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will do not only what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea," it will happen!
21:22  And whatever you ask in prayer, if you believe, you will receive."
Matthew 21:21 and 21:22

These two verses tell us that faith is the answer to all we need.  Faith in Jesus, in his word, in the spirit within us, and in God us can achieve anything, but we must have faith.  Faith is the belief in things not seen.

I can not see the spirit within me, but I have faith that I am filled with the spirit.  Jesus told us that if we have faith we are strong enough to lift the mountains and throw them into the sea.  If we have faith, and we ask for something in a prayer we will receive.

Sometimes in times of trouble we forget that our faith in God is all we need.  It is the answer.  You just have to let go and leap.  God will catch us in our leap of faith.  He is always there, and he is the answer.

I would love to hear what you have to say.  I always love your comments.

Have a wonderful and blessed day.

  1. Hey Debi,
Love that picture! Being so close to such important historical places related to our Lord is an experience I'd love to have as well!
AND, knowing that faith is a gift from God, well that's such a huge relief isn't it? Since our faith isn't something we muster up in ourselves to have, it's all up to God ! Awesome!

    1. Hi Doni,
Thank you so much for your kind comments. Faith is an awesome thing. i just have to trust that God will take care of everything. It is in his hands.
