Semi Homemade Chocolate Mousse in Puff Pastry

Today I am sharing my recipe for Semi Homemade Chocolate Mousse in Puff Pastry.  This is a super easy recipe and you can make it sugar free if you would like.   I started making this a the chocolate mouse when I was on a low carb diet a very long time ago, and it has stuck with me ever since.

Semi Homemade Chocolate Mousse in Puff Pastry
Ingredients
2 cups jello chocolate instant pudding
2 cups heavy whipping cream
6 puff pepperidge farms puff pastry shells

Directions:

To make puff pastry shells

Follow the directions on the puff pastry package to cook the shells.  Let them cool off totally when done, before filling.

To Make the Chocolate Mousse

Put the chocolate pudding in a mixing bowl and then add the 2 cups of whipping cream.

Beat until light fluffy and smooth.

Spoon the chocolate mousse into your puff pastry shells.

Set the top of the shell back on at an angle

You can serve immediately or refrigerate until you are ready to serve.

Serves 6

I hope you enjoy this easy recipe as much as we do.  It's pretty easy, and if you are doing a low carb diet you can serve the chocolate mousse in a pretty serving bowl to make it even lighter.  I always love hearing from you.

Enjoy!!!
