Psalm 1 - Bible Study

Charly and are are going to start sharing some verses separately with all of you,  and today I am sharing Psalm 1.  I have been reading more of Psalms lately, and I have really been finding inspiration, peace, and a fullness of spirit in this beautiful book.  I will be starting at the beginning of Psalms, and I will be sharing some of my favorites with you over the next few months.

Psalm 1

1:1   Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful:
1:2   But his delight is in the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
1:3   He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
1:4   The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
1:5   Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgement,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
1:6   For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way the ungodly shall perish.

I love these verses.  I love that God knows us and that he knows our hearts.   How great is that?  I love God and I pray all of the time, but even when I am not thinking about God at a specific moment in time, He knows my heart.  He is truly Amazing.

Have a blessed day.
