Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pudding Pie

Today is a recipe for Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pudding Pie.  It is a truly amazing dessert.  Charly made a Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Pudding Pie for Christmas Eve with Ryan's family.  They never got to try it, so Ryan's dad asked if they would make another one and bring if for dessert for Christmas day.  It also was a big hit.  The main difference between the two pies is that I used vanilla pudding and Charly used chocolate pudding.  Charly has some other secret ingredients in the pie she makes, and she will share her recipe with you at some point also.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pudding Pie

Ingredients

1 chocolate cookie pie crust
2 oz milk chocolate chips
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
2 bananas sliced
2 box 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding
2 cups milk
2 cup whipped cream divided

Directions:

lay sliced bananas evenly over the bottom of the bottom of the pie crust.

Combine peanut butter and chocolate chips in a bowl and put in microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.  Checking and stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

Pour over bananas.

In a large bowl mix milk and pudding with a whisk for two minutes until smooth.

Let set for two minutes until soft set.

Then fold in 1 cup of whipped cream and spread over the chocolate peanut butter mixture.

Pipe the rest of the whipped cream over the top of the pie.

Ready to serve.

Serves 8 to 10 pieces

I hope that you enjoy this recipe.  It is really a good one, and I can't wait for Charly to share her's with you also.  I always love hearing from you.

Enjoy!!!
