Pineapple Juice Cocktail from The Settlement Cookbook


Today's Happy Hour Recipe is a Pineapple Juice Cocktail from The Way to a Man's Heart The Settlement Cookbook (copyright 1947).  I am a little early on the Retro Recipe for this week, but I thought that this looked like a good drink for the week.  


Pineapple Juice Cocktail

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 cups moscato or 1 cup sprite (for alcohol free version)
1 1/2 pineapple juice
1/2 cup orange juice

Directions:

Mix sugar and water in a sauce pan.

Bring to a boil and boil gently for 5 minutes.

let cool, once cool add moscato or sprite, pineapple juice, and orange juice.

Stir and pour over ice.

Makes 3 to 4 servings
