Marriage 2 Bible Verses

This week I am sharing verses about Marriage 2 - Bible Verses.  I love reading these verses.  I hope you enjoy them also.

Genesis

Gen 2:24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Song of Solamon

Son 6:3  I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine:

Ephesians

Eph 4:2  Always be humble and gentle. Patiently put up with each other and love each other.
Eph 4:3  Try your best to let God's Spirit keep your hearts united. Do this by living at peace.

Eph 5:31  As the Scriptures say, "A man leaves his father and mother to get married, and he becomes like one person with his wife."

1 Corinthians

1Co 13:4  Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or
1Co 13:5  rude. Love isn't selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others do.
1Co 13:6  Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil.
1Co 13:7  Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.

1 Peter

1Pe 3:1  If you are a wife, you must put your husband first. Even if he opposes our message, you will win him over by what you do. No one else will have to say anything to him,
1Pe 3:7  If you are a husband, you should be thoughtful of your wife. Treat her with honor, because she isn't as strong as you are, and she shares with you in the gift of life. Then nothing will stand in the way of your prayers.

Romans

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I hope that you enjoy today's verses.   There are so many beautiful ones to choose from.  I can't wait to share more with you next week.  I always love hearing from you.

Have a Blesses Week.

  1. Thank you for these! Perfect timing...I was looking for a marriage scripture to put in a wedding card. I used the Song of Solomon one because it is from my wedding!
