Canterbury Dressing for Retro Recipe Saturday

Today I have made you Canterbury Dressing for Retro Recipe Saturday from The Complete Cheese Cookbook from Kraft, but first I want to give a shout out to:

Kaysi from Keeping It Simple Crafts and Downtown Tape for their wonderful.  I won 10 rolls of Washi Tape, and am so excited.  I had not had any to play with yet, so this is a wonderful gift.  The picture above, are the beautiful rolls that I won.  I can't wait to try them out.  visit Kaysi and her great blog and you can get all of your Washi Tape at Downtown Tape.

Now, for the Canterbury Dressing.  The Complete Cheese Cookbook from Kraft was published in March of 1973.  It is an amazingly simple recipe, and it can be used as a spread for a sandwich or on a salad.  It tastes delicious, but how can it not with garlic in it.  Anyway, I now present you with...

Canterbury Dressing

Ingredients:

2/3 cup dairy sour cream
1/3 cup mayonaise
1 tsp garlic salt

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together until well blended.

Refrigerate.

You can use this on a sandwich or on a salad.  It would taste amazing on either.

It is truly very good, but since I can never leave well enough alone, I decided to add 1 TB chives to the dressing, for some added flavor.  It turned out even better then I expected.

I hope that you like the dressing recipe.  Let me know what you think.  I always love hearing from you.

Enjoy!!!
