Brisket Retro Recipe

I'm always looking for quick and easy things to make for dinner so, I made Brisket in the crock pot. It was so quick and easy and made my house smell delicious, that I could hardly keep myself from eating it before everyone got home. I hope you all enjoy it. Here's the recipe.

Brisket Retro Recipe

Ingredients:

5 lbs beef brisket
2 packets Lipton's onion soup
1 lb golden potatoes
1 lb baby carrots
1 onion
6 cups of water or until meat is mostly covered

Directions:

Chop potatoes and onion into 1/4's

Next put the brisket, potatoes, carrots, and onion into the crock pot

Sprinkle both packets of Lipton's onion soup over the top of meat and vegetables

Finally pour 6 cups of water into the crock pot and set for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender enough to be pulled apart with a fork.

Serves 6

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did! We always love hearing from you.

Go get your grub on!!!
Charly

    1. You are to funny. Charly made this one, and it is really good. David normally just gets chicken and fish also, but Ryan, Charly's other half, gets all of the good stuff since he is young and can eat anything.
      Have a great week.

  2. My husband loves to order brisket out at restaurants but I've never tried making it. A crock pot version totally seems like something I could actually pull off. Sounds delish and thank you for sharing with us on A Crafty Soiree!

    1. Hi Katie,
This is a really easy recipe, and the onion soup really gives it lots of flavor. Your husband should like it. Three guys ate most of the 5 lb brisket in one sitting. So it did go fast. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I love your party. Have a great week.
