Chocolate Almond Banana Soft Serve

So this Chocolate Almond Banana Soft Serve is delicious, and so yummy, I couldn't wait to share the recipe with you.  It is super easy to make also.  Since I started following The Maker's Diet from Jordan Rubin, I have had to be creative with my treats.  I love bananas, especially frozen chocolate covered bananas.  This really has an ice cream consistency, but also has the chocolate and the almond butter adds the extra OOMPH that the nut flavor adds.  It has certainly helped me with desserts at night.

Chocolate Almond Banana Soft Serve

Ingredients:

2 frozen bananas -  peeled and cut into large pieces
3 TB Raw Almond Butter
2 TB raw cocoa powder
1/4 cup goat milk yogurt

Directions:

Put all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.

Makes 1 serving.

I hope that you like this recipe.  It is sooooo gooood, and as an aside healthy.

Have a great week.

  1. Sounds yummy but I have no idea where to get the ingredients! I bet our local Wegmans has them...they have everything!

    1. Hi Ann Marie,
You can get everything at Whole Foods a Sprouts or some other natural or organic grocery store. I just looked up Wegmans and, wow, what a beautiful store. I've never been to one. I'm not sure if they carry natural or organic food, but if they do they will probably have it. You can make it with regular products from the grocery store, it would just not meet the requirements of the Maker's Diet, which is fine if your not following the diet. Just substitute some greek yogurt instead of the goat milk yogurt. You can use regular cocoa powder like Hersheys and regular almond butter or even peanut butter. I hope that helps and that you like it.
      Have a great week.

  2. Hi Debi, I never had goat milk yogurt before! I have the almond butter and cocoa powder but it does sound interesting just like your oatmeal recipe. I have not had a chance to make the oatmeal yet but it does sound healthy. Have a nice Valentines Day and weekend and thanks for sharing your recipes!

    1. Hey Julie,
I never had either, until I started The Maker's Diet. It tastes just like regular yogurt. You can also use regular yogurt if that is what you have available. Thanks so much. Have a great Valentine's Day also.
