Sea of Glass in the Book of Revelation

I did this painting several years ago, and last week when I was praying about what to write today, I felt that I needed to show you my painting.  It is the Sea of Glass with Jesus's Crown.  I am so grateful that he sits on the thrown at the right hand of our father.  "Our Father who art in Heaven."  Isn't that great news!!!  He's right there watching over us and waiting for us.

Here are some verses from Revelation that talk about the Sea of Glass.

And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
Revelation 4:6

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Revelation 15:2

I find it comforting that the outcome of the battle has already been decided.

I love remembering at this time of year that Jesus came and lived among men as a man, in order to assure our future in the God's Kingdom.

Have a Blessed Week.
