Frozen Strawberry Pie and Introducing Charly

Today I am sharing a recipe for Frozen Strawberry Pie which is one of my favorites.  I am also going to talk about some changes to Adorned From Above for 2013.  First I will talk about the changes and then I'll give you the recipe.

Today, I want to introduce you to my daughter Charly.  She is a talented cook, crocheter, beader, and photographer.  The reason that I am introducing you to Charly is that she is going to start working on Adorned From Above with me.  The blog and the parties have grown dramatically over the last month, and I am not able to do all of the work myself any longer.  I feel terrible when I can not comment on each post that is shared at the parties or answer each comment that I receive.  So Charly has decided to help me with all of those things.  The other thing that she will be doing is writing some of the posts.  She is a very creative cook and she is going to start sharing some of her recipes with all of you, and also some of her other talents.   So you are going to see a lot more of Charly starting this week.  Thursday she will be posting her first recipe for you, her Foolproof Prime Rib.

The next change you will see is to the parties. Over the last few weeks you have seen guest co-hosts.  We will make guest co-hosting a permanent thing at Adorned From Above.  There are so many wonderful blogs out there and we would love to be able to share as many of them as possible with all of you. So if you would like to be a guest co-host at Adorned From Above, send Charly or me an email (found on my contact page), and we will start adding people to the calender to co-host at the parties.  We will send you an email confirming the date and responsibilities of being a co-host.

Also, sometime in February we will be starting another party.  There will be a different party each week and they will be a party to follow each other on social media. (ie Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, GFC, and G+)  We will do co-hosts for those parties also.

The most co-hosts we would have at each party will be two, any more than that are too many to follow.  We want people to have fun, not be stressed about trying to follow to many people.  We also want you to get to know your co-hosts.

We think 2013 is going to be a great year,  and we can't wait to see everything you have planned for this year.

Now here is the delicious recipe for Frozen Strawberry Pie.  This is so simple to make and it's on the healthier side for a desert.

1 16 oz container frozen sweetened sliced strawberries
1 8 oz container strawberry yogurt

    1. Hi Lisa,
It is delicious. You can use fresh strawberries, but you will need to add sugar to them and let them sit for a little bit, so that they make a syrup. Once that happens, you can add them to the rest of the ingredients and make your pie.
